Many years ago, when I had the time to experiment with my photography, this was one of those simple photos that I spent copious amounts of time "playing" with different effects.
It started out as a simple chair with rungs, and its shadow being cast onto a tile floor with afternoon sun reflecting its angles. Sometimes I am completely mesmerized by sharp lines and angles, as they lend themselves to more of an abstract or architectural piece of art to take any number of directions.
If I recall, I gave it a harder edge with some contrast, bringing out the lines against the white of the tiles, then added the drops to it. I honestly don't think I've used this method since!
Just a silly little entry into Dick Greenberg's 2017 Photography Contest for the category Real Life, sub-category Best Use of Special Effect. Such fun to play with your imagination!!
