After finishing up a Feng Shui Consultation in the City of Palmdale, CA I decided to check out a local hike called Barrel Springs Trail. Its a short 2.5 mile round trip hike, walk, run or horse ride; as you'll share the path with various locals and travelers a like. Elevation gain is only 207 feet, parking is free and just be sure to bring water, wear a hat and sunscreen. There is minimal shade and sun is pretty strong. If you have a furry friend, be sure he or she is leashed and they too can experience the trail.
From the title, I thought I would need a horse and barrel race training. Water, hat, and sunscreen are good recommendations to deal with the heat. And the dogs might need paw protection from the heat too.
