SAILING INTO AN ITALIAN SUNSET

This past summer my daughter and I had a wonderful time touring Italy.. Capri, The Amalfi Coast, Venice, Milan, and of course Florence where my daughter lives. Choosing a photograph for Dan Greenberg's ActiveRain Photography Contest 2017 is very difficult--every one is associated with a wonderful memory. This one is an entry for the Real Life/Travel category.

The one I chose was a scene right outside of our hotel room in a quiet town just south of Sorrento called Sant'Agnelo. I don't think I have ever seen a sherbert sky sunset like this one. If you have the opportunity to visit the Amalfi Coast, I highly recommend the lovely Hotel Mediterraneo. Their general manager, Nello, will not only make you feel like you are an old friend who he hasn't seen in a while, but he will make sure your stay there is perfection.

We love Italy! My husband proposed to me in Rome last year we went to Milan and Venice. We went back to Milan last month and we really enjoyed it!
