STILL LIFE IN CENTERPORT
Some people like still lifes of fruit while others prefer still lifes of flowers. I've always been drawn to the still life created by the kayaks and skiffs that are propped up on the racks at Fleets Cove Beach in Centerport, NY. During fall, thy have the beach to themselves until one by one, they disappear as their owners bring them back to their homes until spring comes again. For now, they dress up the beach with a riot of color.
