I feel sad whenever I hear a story of a real estate agent hiring a marketing
consultant (usually for thousands ofdollars)...
... only to have the investment wasted as they watch it all fall apart around them.
To me, it’s simply tragic … and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen it happen.
This has profoundly motivated me to empower agents to do their own marketing …
Which is why I’m so passionate about Active Rain and the mentoring frequently witnessed here.
I get fired up about this because...…
- nobody can communicate your message from the heart like you can…
- nobody can tune in and understand your ideal client like you can …and
- nobody can design YOUR business for greatest fullfillment like you can!
Hiring a marketing consultant most often does not work …
So in the end the real estate agent’s business ends up in jeopardy, due in large part to dismal conversion rates and messages to the wrong adudience!
(and CONVERSION is where the rubber hits the road in this industry)
The fact is, the burden of responsibility is on YOU to ensure your ideal clients hear YOUR message.
Now that is why I am so passionate about business owners, (that means real estate agents) have a proper business plan, to identify the ideal client, where they are located and how they can be reached with the agents USP.
I encourage you to take a serious look at whether NOW is the right time for you to empower yourself and your message!
Review your business plan, (or make one) make adjustments that are refelctive of any change in your marketplace and/or the transformation you offer to those who chooose you.
You shouild even consider engaging a 'workgroup' for peer review and advice.
