So how do you get curb appeal?
Well it starts with the yard. How is your grass? Is it green? Is it mowed? Are your leaves picked up? Are the weeds picked up?
After the grass is manicured then you should look at your plant beds.
Do your plant beds have mulch or stone? Do plant beds have flower plants? Are the plant bed bushes trimmed?
Last but not least are your trees. The trees should trimmed to allow light to the yard and home. Also, the tree branches shouldn't block views from the home.
After your have dealt with the yard then you need to review the exterior of the home.
Start at the top and examine the roof area. Are you missing shingles? Is there a stain on your roof? This needs to be fixed.
Then look at the exterior of your home. Is it clean and fresh? If not you will need to pressure wash or maybe repaint. You may be able to get away with just painting the trim and adding shutters. This can give your home a brand new look.
Last but not least is fixing up your front entry. Here your buyer will wait while the door is open. It will have the most focus of the exterior. So clean your door and add some flowers for a finished look.
