This weeks report on home values for Corona del Mar and surrounding areas homes is prepared by a Corona del Mar Realtor Joe Steck. The report shows the Orange County Median Prices for resale homes were 7.8 percent, new homes are down 0.5 percent and resale condos are up 4.2 percent. The sales volume is down for resale homes 7.5 percent, up 37.7 percent on condos and up 45.7 percent for new homes.
Corona del Mar Zip Code 92627 sales prices are down 1.4 percent and the sales volume is up 60.0 percent.
Mission Viejo Zip Code 92691 sales prices are up 11.3 percent and the sales volume is up 8.9 percent.
Mission Viejo Zip Code 92692 sales prices are down 1.9 percent and the sales volume is down 19.2 percent.
Aliso Viejo Zip Code 92656 sales prices are up 9.1 and the sales volume is down 38.5 percent.
Laguna Niguel Zip Code 92677 sales prices up 3.0 percent and the sales volume is up 8.0 percent.
Rancho Santa Margarita Zip Code 92688 sales prices are up 38.7 percent and the sales volume up 6.1 percent.
San Clemente Zip Code 92672 sales prices are up 12.7 percent and the sales volume is down 13.6 percent.
San Clemente Zip Code 92673 sales prices are up 5.4 percent and the sales volume is up 8.3 percent.
We are heading into the fall market and we should see even fewer listings and that should cause a bigger gap between the number of homes and the number of buyers. Expect the laws of supply and demand to cause the market to increase.
