Weekend Wine Review Tenute Silvio Nardi Brunello Di Montalcino 2012

By
Industry Observer

A Brunello De Montalcino wine has to follow very strict guidelines. The grapes must be hand picked and carefully sorted and only the top70% of grapes are used.

The wine color deep red garnet with hints of ruby. The aromas that hit you wine are red tart berries with hint of coffee. On the palate the taste if of deep tart cherries and cranberries with a hint of cocoa. This paired well with our homemade eggplant parmigiana. It was a great Saturday night!

Yolanda,

Brunello is one of our favorites, and when it is good it is worth every penniy of the price.  Happy Monday.  A

Endre Barath, Jr. It has been too long we need to share a good bottle of wine. If I remember correctly it's your turn to buy! :)
