Homeland Reatly Corporation (HLR) is a true RE company. All agents must be licensed in the state where their primary market is. There is one primary broker for each state. This person is the interface to HLR Corporate.
The beauty of HLR is that unlike other companies, we pay no office fees, no desk fees, etc. for the privilege of working for a broker. We can get up to 100% commissions. I can sponsor new members into my organization and get an override on their business. As I sponsor more agents, my rank within the company grows and I earn a higher personal commission on my sales. Other agents build their own organization in the same fashion.
The income potential is unlimited and the residual income is there for life. The other aspect of our company is the mortgage side, which is National Lending Corporation (NLC). This is a company that I am also a member of. The same guidelines hold for NLC as they do for HLR. You can sponsor people into NLC and get overrides on their work.
So the bottom line is that you are not restricted to being a Realtor. You can branch out and get the mortgage also. Most states do not require a mortgage broker to be licensed. Training is available at local offices and on the web site for NLC. WA. State law just recently changed and now a loan originator must be licensed in WA. State before originating a loan.
