Operation Gratitude in Towson

By
Real Estate Agent with Cummings & Co. Realtors

Operation Gratitude is a way to send care packages to our military servicemembers overseas.

Every year a few days after Halloween, my son's school has the boys bring in candy they got on Halloween to create care packages of treats for the troops.

My son will donate a good pile of candy, and he feels good knowing that it goes to the troops.

They also make cards and pack the boxes for the troops - all before 7:50am when classes start. It makes our boys feel like they are connected and giving something from the heart.

Operation Gratitude operates many different types of giving to the troops. If you and your friends and neighbors have leftover candy, get together and donate a few boxes.

Here is a link to the Halloween Candy Give Back locations across the US.

To learn more about how you can give to our troops, whether candy or other goodies, please visit Operation Gratitude's website.

THANK YOU to our troops.

We hope you know how much we appreciate you.

That must be tough trying to decide to give your KitKat bars away Marney Kirk . What a nice thing to do.

Marney, this is a great way to get rid of excess candy and at the same time make another person smile.

Hi Marney, what a great gesture. It's a wonderful way to share the excess candy haul from Halloween. D
