  1. Change the Batteries in your thermostat and smoke alarms.
  2. Replace the older Carbon Monoxide Alarms with the new 10 year batteries.
  3. Increase the insulation in your unfinished attic.
  4. Add storm or double-pane windows
  5. Weatherstrip interior doors if you feel cold air coming in.
  6. Seal exhaust vents.
  7. Trim or remove aggressive plants.
  8. Replace damaged roof shingles.Patch cracks in the driveway.
  9. Clean the rain gutters.
  10. Change to LED exterior light bulbs
  11. Flush the water heaterReplace outside wired lights with solar fixtures.
  12. Trim trees and rake leaves off ground.

Just be more in tune with lights on and standing with the refridgerator door open and not knowing what you want.   Same goes for foing in and out.  Openn the door and move don't stand with the door open.
