The Alameda’s Farmer’s Market is open to the public Saturday November 11, and Tuesday, November 14 mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine. All the fruits and vegetables are available at great prices. So good! Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits, vegetables and flowers. The market is on Webster Street and Haight Avenue and is open rain or shine.
Veterans Day Ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Building on Saturday, November 11 at 10:30 am to 2:00 pm. Barbecue follows the ceremony at 2203 Central Avenue. Please call 865-6372 for more information and to register.
Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid food trucks will be at South Shore on Saturday, November 11, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot in front of Petco.
Crab Cove for Family Nature Fun Hour for “Lost on a Desert Island” on Saturday, November11, at 2:00 pm then see what is going on at the Visitor’s Center. Crab Cove is located at 1252 McKay Avenue. Please call 510-544-3187 for more information.
Annual Nutcracker Fundraiser on Sunday, November 12 from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. Proceeds benefit the Alameda Community Ballet. ACB performers will be dressed in costume serving breakfast at the Alameda Elks Lodge at 2255 Santa Clara Avenue in Alameda. Tickets are $13 for kids 13 and older and $6 for kids 12 to 6.
