I changed my profile photo wearing the Peletot Overcoat because I own one after the style is a 19 century Style and many people in this is generation don't know the coats history. The most well dressed men of the time made this coat famous. I live in Southern California and the reasons I have for wearing this coat is that it gets down to 50 degrrees in the morning. That is cold in southern california! My sister in Gary Indianna laughs at me where it was down to 10 above zero, I don't leave home without the coat when I go on the east coast.
It is a coat that I recieve compliments from when ever I wear it to events (evening), every now and then an issue is raised as to the it being a womens coat? No it is not. It is a Gentleman's coat. I know it is a formal coat but it is a coat the would be worn doing the time that Craftsman home was buildt and this is mostly the kind my service area and this is the kind of wear of that era.
I forgot my cane and gloves!
