Many, Many Hats

By
Real Estate Agent with Atlanta Communities 303302

I am a huge fan of hiring professionals for jobs. They know what they are doing. They can get things done much more quickly and efficiently than I can for sure. There are a few things, however, I like to try myself. One of these is working on my own website. So, I have been wearing an additional hat recently.

The reason for this is that while I could get someone else to build my website, I would not know how to maintain it. And if you are going to have a website, you need to tend to it regularly or it will die.

So, for the past several weeks I have been puttering away at it and I have launched my new website built on a platform called uKit. It still needs some serious tweaking, but I thought it was good enough to go ahead and publish. There is no direct way to look for homes on the site because I figure anyone on the site will already be looking on Zillow or someplace like that and will be visiting to learn more about me.

So if you have the time, check it out and let me know what you think. Thanks!

It looks good. I would keep writing in AR with long tail titles and link back to that site to create more clout with Google. AR has a decent amount of traffic to create SEO for us.

Peter den Boer Thanks for the alert to this website tool. I visited your website and noted there is no IDX search capability. Will you be adding it?

Good morning Peter. I think it looks really good. You make a good point about maintaining it yourself.
