"I've never had bullets fly by my head, but I've experienced freedom because of the men and women who did.  I am forever grateful for every veteran's sacrifice."

-Unknown

On this first day of the challenge, the day following the official Veterans Day observance, it seems appropriate to continue giving thanks to our Veterans and be sure our currently serving military personnel know how much we appreciate the blank check they have signed to defend our way of life.

If you know anything about the history of the United States, you know the price for our freedoms and way of life has been high.

For the past, present and future military personnel, I am deeply grateful.... today and every day!

Hi Carol... that blank check our military writes with their lives when they join up is an awesome gift to our nation.... and one we need to be thankful for all year long.

Good morning Nina Hollander .  I've written some BIG checks but can't even fathom signing a check that big.  I hope our veterans can start getting the help and recognition they deserve.  Have a great week.
