Michigan has been mentioned in many news articles as a state that has more severe
housing problems than other states. With falling manufacturing output and a questionable
tax structure that may not be the most friendly to business, we have seen losses in jobs
and in home prices here in Michigan for the last two years.
I believe we have been in a declining market for a longer period than the
rest of the country and we will see the increase sooner than some areas
of our country, as the uptick starts.
Read the announcement that Fanny and Freddie are eliminating the
declining market requirements on appraisals.
Good news for all of us.
