Sacramento County experienced a -1.2% decrease in number of homes listed FOR SALE in October 2017 vs. the same month a year ago.
For the same period there was a -8.3% decrease in homes SOLD. Pending Sales increased 14.7%.
Interest rates continue to remain reasonably low. For those able to find suitable homes, it's a GREAT time to buy.
Families on the move will appreciate your local market report.

Interesting statistics. Do you think the pending increase is for the large number of buyers scrambling for fewer homes. Inventory continues to fall here, cheers cvc
Myrl. it still looks like a great time to buy a home in your area. I like how you have a handle on the current market, it's important for buyers and sellers to be aware of market trends.

Hi ya, Myrl: I'm gonna have a fantastic December this year because almost every listing I've got is suddenly flying into escrow (I'll be in Hawaii in December). The pending sales are way up in Sacramento. The city alone has a 15.5% increase in pending sales over last year at this time.

Hi Myrl. Hope you're selling lots of homes in this final quarter of 2017. We've got three closing soon, and feel as if we're ready to start planning for more good stuff in 2018.

Looks like a balanced market at the end of the year which is good for both sides of the transaction.

Myrl, in this last quarter of 2017, I hope year end sales are the best yet.
Myrl,
Just stopped to say hello and was seeing if you had posted anything new. I guess you are getting ready for the feast you will prepare for your brood.
