Charlotte, NC Ranked As A Top City For Veterans

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Realty 179530

With November just officially proclained by President Trump as Veterans and Military Families Month, it's great news for Charlotte, North Carolina to have been ranked in the top 15 best cities in America for veterans. WalletHub, a financial website, just released their 2017 report on the Best & Worst Places For Veterans To Live, which examined where veterans receive the best services and assistance.

WalletHub compared the 100 largest U.S. cities across 17 key indicators, including  livability, affordability, veteran-friendliness, share of military skill-related jobs, veteran income growth, availability of VA health facilities. Being ranked #14 out of 100 cities as a best place for veterans to live is particularly good news for Charlotte, as it should be pointed out we are not a "military" city, per se.

Nina, maybe it is because the weather is so nice in Charlotte, not much snow in the winter, great spring and summer.

Beth Atalay ~ hi Beth... the fundamentals that made Charlotte a popular destination city for the past decade are those that also attract veterans and our new VA hospital really helps.

I am surprised that Nashville is on the list with the high cost of living and the trend of sellers to not sell on a VA loan. Congrats on Charlotte making the list.
