Take Time Out to Smell the Roses, when you Travel!

We have been traveling across the country.  Where do I begin to share some of the most amazing experiences we had?   We went to the National We Make Color Easy Conference in Atlanta, GA.

Atlanta Botanical Gardens   In Motion Atlanta Botanical Garadens

Do you know the importance of adding a day or two to your business trip to visit the sights when you travel?  It is so easy to just to go in and out of a city and not take time to visit one of the city's sights to your trip.  Think about it.  When you spend all of the money, time and effort why not take time out to smell the roses along the way?  That is exactly what we did at the Botanical Gardens in Atlanta, GA before the Conference.  It was the most spectacular events of nature, flowers and seeing some of the most unique sights my son and I had ever seen!   Since, one of our specialties is Color Consulting and Color Training for our business we were so impressed with our Creator's handiwork and color combinations.  They were truly stunning.  We saw Complimentary, Split Complimentary, Triadic, and Analogous Color Combinations that were just spectacular!

Metal and Foilage   Chris in the Gardens

The exhibit of "In Motion" of man-made moving sculptures were also on display.  It was wonderful to see the contrast of nature and manmade sculptures against each other.  Those sculptures were also very creative of movement and metal hard surfaces against the soft foliage of flowers and plants.

Beautiful!   Beautiful Antler Ferns

Our favorite displays were in the Conservatory.  You will be amazed at the beautiful gardens of orchids.  Check out these colors.

Wow, Colorful Flowers!   Beautiful Tiger Lily

Spectacular!  Red and Green Contrasts

I hope you enjoy these photos as much as we enjoyed taking them.  If you ever have a chance to visit, Atlanta, make sure to squeeze some time in to see the beautiful Botanical Gardens.  You will be refreshed, amazed and enlightened.  You will be amazed at what taking time out to smell the roses will do for you!

I like not being in a hurry all the time when I travel!

Seeing the sights or taking the back roads once in awhile suits me fine.

Hi Adam,  I agree with you.  We do need to appreciate the beauty around us.  You are from my old stomping grounds in Orange County, CA!  There is so much to see and enjoy there, too.  Take yourself and loved ones to one of those amazing parks and enjoy a picnic soon!

Have a Colorful Day!
