The Monument, Colorado Real Estate market experienced a good October of 2017. There were 58 sales in the month of October. This is down 10 Sales from the previous month but down 11 Sales from the same month a year ago.

This is the first October decrease in the number of home sales we have seen since 2009. The chart below shows the consistent growth in the Monument Real Estate Market:

We feel like the decreased number of homes sales is due to a combination of seasonal slowing in conjunction with lack of inventory as well as a rising median sales price. Here is a good look at the median sales price for Monument in relation to the rest of El Paso County.

The Monument Real Estate Market is still on track to have a great year. The big concerns are lack of inventory and rapidly escalating home prices.
