Wow, I can't believe it's already Wednesday evening and it's Thanksgiving tomorrow. It certainly arrived sooner than I expected. Today, I made my world famous cheesecake. Well, maybe not world famous, but famous among my family and our Thanksgiving guests.
To be honest, I don't know how it's going to turn out now. My mom's cousin need gluten free food. Last year, my mom found gluten free graham crackers and I think she blended them up for me. This year, she couldn't find any, so instead she bought a pre-made pie crushed.
I was speechless.
It took me a minute to say something because I didn't know what to say. She said it will save you time (which is true). But, I'm sure it won't be as good as usual and graham cracker pie crust makes the cheese cake taste extra good. So, I don't know how this will turn out.
Oh, and as I was telling someone this story I realized that it's weird...it's cheese cake, but a pie crust. Is that an oxymoron or a contradiction of some sort? Or, maybe it's not a pie crust...it's a cake crust. But, still, it's in a pie pan. I never thought about it until this week.
Anyway, I can't believe it's already 7:40 and I've barely gotten to what I planned to get finished by 11am. Oh well.
One of the things I wanted to do was backlink to my blog at Time For a Fresh Start. I started this for me. It's a way for me to decompress and chronicle my journey of moving towards online income. Well over time, I started to link to my website and 2 of my clients sites. I figured having some extra links would help.
So, last week, I looked at my Moz Domain authority and it stinks. There's really no surprise there, since I haven't done anything for the site. It's just for me, and I didn't want my writing to rank well. It's just a stream of consciousness.
But, then I realized that if I start building the site up some more, it would probably strengthen the value of the links to my site and my clients' sites, so I might as well get going with it.
Still, I don't know where my day went, but I am glad that tomorrow is Thanksgiving and have another 3 days after that to catch up on what I was supposed to do today.
