Got Nature? We Do! - ViewHomes of Clark County

By
Industry Observer with Nature As Neighbors

Got Nature - No worries, we do!

If you're craving a connection to Nature, and according to a number of researchers and scientists, most of us are, we can help.

While it's common sense to recognize spending time outdoors is good for you, many people are surprised to learn that the mere act of looking at natural scenes is beneficial to your emotional and physical well-being.

While man-made landscapes overwhelm us with stimulation, natural views soothe and calm, replenishing our exhausted mental resources. It's why we sell ViewHomes of Clark County with nature as neighbors and elbow room for the soul™.

Spending time in Nature, or viewing it out your windows, can be a powerful elixir.

1. Decreases stress.

2. Makes you happier, less brooding.

3. Relieves attention fatigue and increases creativity.

4. May increase kindness and generosity.

5. Helps you feel more vital.

Got Nature? Give us a call, we know where to find it in Clark County, Washington.

My favorite 2 things to do when the day gets hard is sit by the Ocean or when driving, stop and sit by the water, a lake, pind or river and just watch and listen Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD

What a clever post, Debb. And deep down I believe that nature can be a destresser, but as someone who has been raised in NYC's concrete jungle, I can't say I ever look for it. When I see it, I appreciate it... but I don't ever go out of my way looking for it.

Hi Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD, being close to nature has so many benefits and it's always there, all we have to do is search it. I'm like Nina Hollander,  I enjoy being outdoors and nature but get my energy from the city, the hustle, and bustle.

Debb and Bernie, your post is a reminder to me that I need to make more time to be outdoors. Growing up on a small farm I've always felt connected to nature and spent most of my days outside. It's easy to spend too much time in the office. I agree with all of your points.

Even if you just sit and stare at something natural - green and calming, it will be good for  you, Amanda. D

You'll find salmon, steelhead and trout, depending upon the time of the year, Will. :)

Debb, fishing in this river does sound like fun, and have enough salmon in my freezer right now.  Trout would be good!

The RIGHT CHARLOTTE REALTOR!

You know, I just gave my son this advice this week, Debb & Bernie! My youngest and his girlfriend both, have the respiratory flu that has been rampant here in our area. I told them to get outdoors and get some fresh air - 'You'll just FEEL better!'

And, I'm with you, the view does make a difference - and I love your 'elbow room for the soul' comment - that's really spot-on!

I hope you two are having a wonderful weekend!
