On Christmas Day, we plan to go to Anchorage for business and a 2 week winter experience. The is Dec 26 through Jan 7th. According to Active Rain membership data, there are around 750 Active Rainers in Alaska. Surely, there are enough for a meet-up!
Did you have a great Thanksgiving? Vanessa and visiting mom in law, were up in the early AM and preparing turkey and food! It was a fun day but a long one. Vanessa’s pumpkin crunch was a winner.
Is there a possibility for a Hawaii and Anchorage meet-up somewhere?
If someone locally could arrange getting us together, that would be grand! Is anyone up to the challenge? It doesn’t have to be fancy, even your favorite fast food establishment would work, or the food court at a nearby mall. How about it? Maybe this is your chance to invite a NON Active Rain person, agent, lender and get points for them signing up. Let’s network!
Weather here has been CHILLY for us, around 60-65 degrees and 20-25 MPH winds and will get back to 80 this weekend. Typically, it’s around 75-80. Been a while since we’ve experienced snow or below zero in Alaska.

As with most places across the nation, Hawaii Real Estate is a Seller’s market. Supply low, demand high. Typically, three bedroom 2 bath home on 5,000 square feet of land runs in the $600,000-850,000 range according to how far away from Honolulu you can handle. A three bedroom condo or townhouse will run in the $400,000+ range. Studios might run around $200,000. Check out one of my websites http://www.besthomehawaii.com/ which is a direct connect to the Honolulu Oahu Hawaii MLS.
