Williamsburg, the best town in America for Christmas celebrations

Williamsburg, Virginia has been called the best town in America for Christmas celebrations. The official kick off for the Christmas season in Colonial Williamsburg is The Grand Illumination.

 

This event is held the first Sunday in December.  Fireworks will be going off simultaneously in three places: the capital, the governor's palace and the magazine.  The fireworks are scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm on December 3, 2017.Grand Illumination

The weather in Williamsburg is usually mild during the first week in December, so if you are in the area, check out The Grand Illumination!
