Another wonderful Angel City Chorale performance comes to an end. Diane and I have been going for quiet a few years now and every year we enjoy it and are looking forward to their next performance. Sadly, out of their semiannual performances we never manage to make it in June. Never the less we are more excited than ever, since we have been going they managed to get invited to Carnegie Hall in New York City. They were invited to record with the London Philharmonic and the list goes on an on.
They have outgrown their last location and this year the performed at the
Immanuel Presbyterian Church, on 3300 Wilshire Blvd, in Los Angeles, CA. The place was much larger but felt more intimate. Parking was easier too unlike the old place that became challenging to find parking. Anyway you get the idea.
This year we were joined by one of Diane’s friends and the three of us had a lot of fun driving to and from the performance. Then once we settled into our seats, we were treated to an unexpected surprise.
Sue Fink the Conductor for the Angel City Chorale had her relatives, i.e.: her brother and the rest of the family sit in front of us. Not only did we have a great conversation before the performance, but we got a few fun trivia about Sue Fink too😊.
If you ever get a chance to listen to them as they travel the country make sure you go you will be in for a treat.
