Monroe NY Real Estate Inventory - Nov 26-Dec 2, 2017

There were no new single family homes that came on the market in Monroe NY between November 26th and December 2nd, 2017. At the same time, the total number of available homes in Monroe NY slipped from 90 to 85. At the risk of stating the obvious, new listings are needed! Buyers are still looking for the right home, and it could be one that just hasn't hit the market yet. Yours maybe?

 

Since there are no new listings to share this week, I'll fill you in on what kind of activity DID happen this week.

 

Homes that went under contract. Three homes went under contract this week. They ranged in list price from $220K to $269K. All had three bedrooms, but their styles and sizes were different as indicated below:

This indicates that everything is selling! If you are a seller who is considering selling your home, now would be a great time to do it!

 

Homes that closed. Twelve homes closed in the Monroe, NY area this week. They ranged from a 1,100 square foot 3 bedroom, 1 bath ranch house which sold for $165,000, to a $556,000 colonial. The latter had five bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, and 4,400 square feet. Two of the sales this week were foreclosures. So again, buyers are looking for all types of houses, and at many different price points.
