Lately I've been using my longstanding membership with VisualTour.com to assist my buyers from out of town. Today, I took pictures of some inspection items at the house my clients are buying so that the husband who has not yet seen the house, can get a better idea of what those issues look like.
Three weeks ago I took lots of pictures of this same house, making a more extensive virtual tour so that both clients could see it since they were both back in Virginia when we located this house. Because of the virtual tour (and based on the wife's sister's recommendation...and maybe a little on mine) my clients decided to make an offer although they hadn't ever seen the house in person.
Once the wife came to town this past Thursday to finally see it, she said "I love it...I already feel like I had been through it..."
This is one reason I like doing these tours myself instead of paying someone else. A digital camera and the software are all you need to whip up a great virtual tour in minutes.
Of course these folks will forward this tour to everyone they tell about their new house in Harrisburg NC. This "viral marketing" will hopefully lead to more business since my face, website and phone number are quite obviously imprinted on the tour interface.
So don't forget to use your VisualTour.com for this reason in the future. In the emerging world of virtual home buying, it's a great way to wow clients with little effort thus freeing up more of our time.
