There is a lot of debate about whether listing a home for sale in December is a good idea or not.
December is a great time to list your Williamsburg area home for sale for several reasons:
Beautiful decorations: Christmas decorations in Colonial Williamsburg are beautiful and seem to take on a beauty of their own. If your house is decorated for the holidays it can look very inviting and give the prospective buyer a sense of nostalgia.
Military relocations: There are several military bases near Williamsburg. Military families sometimes during the month of December and are looking to purchase a home.
Less competition: Many people wait until spring to list their house, so there is less inventory and thus less competition in December.
