Living in Elk Grove, is wonderful, especially during this time of the year. The holiday spirit is in full swing, and on any given night if you drive around, you will surely see some impressive light displays. Some homeowners, however, go all out with their light displays. My family and I decided to drive around last night in search of some of the best lights that Elk Grove has to offer. I logged onto the very best website for Christmas light displays, Lights of The Valley. We mapped out our route, grabbed some hot chocolate and off we went!
For us and our kids, it was a school night, so we only had about an hour or so to drive around. We only went to the three homes in east Elk Grove. The three houses are amazing, and we’re so grateful to the homeowners for taking their time to do this for everyone to enjoy. There was one house that just left us in awe. It was like being in a show at Disneyland or a place like that where you see so much magic. The light show was full of so much creativity, imagination, and great music. The show lasts about 10 minutes but there was never a dull moment. The owner was also kind enough to come out and greet all the cars that arrive, and passed out some candy. It makes me feel good to know we live in such a great community!! Can’t wait to check out the rest of all the great light shows here in Elk Grove.
