Some Of My Favorite Gift Wrapping Ideas

By
Home Stager with Sharon Tara Transformations

Tis the season...

the season for gift wrapping!

Are you looking for some last minute gift wrapping tips?

Here are some of my favorites...

I've shared this one before, but it's worth sharing again.

This bow is so festive and always impresses. It's really easy to make and it makes great use of all those leftover scrap pieces of wrapping paper.

If you would like to see how to make these super fun bows

check out this video....

Looking for a really fast and easy way to add a bow to your gifts?

Fold ribbon in half to form a loop at one end.

Place ribbon under gift so open ends are under it and loop is laying on top of it.

Pull the two ends up through the loop and tie into a bow.

A gift bag is your best choice for an odd shaped gift that's hard to wrap.

If you don't have any gift bags on hand, or you are just feeling really creative, you can make your very own gift bag using wrapping paper.

Here are two that I made....

Here is a video I found online that shows how to make your own bags....

Looking for a fun way to give cash as a gift?

My daughter found this great way to give my grandson cash for his birthday.

Simply tape dollar bills to pieces of ribbon and then tape the ribbon to the inside of a gift box cover. When the recipient lifts the lid....it's like raining money!

Here are some other ideas for gifting cash that I've used:

Whether it's for holiday wrapping or gift giving other times during the year,

I hope these ideas inspire you to think wrap outside the box .

Merry Christmas and Happy Wrapping!

Sharon I love the cash in the box idea!  Our Grandkids would love getting that kind of present. So much better than gift cards!

Sharon Tara ~ I have no choice but to be done with mine early in the month, as most of my gifts are mailed to Colorado and Missouri and I like for them to arrive in time.

I like that idea of a fast way to add a bow.  And, I like that last idea of the money hanging from the inside of the box.

From the time of my childhood the idea was always to save all the bows and reuse them. Recycling was big back then even though we didn't know what to call it.

Joe Pryor  I tend to save boxes, bows and bags and tissue paper too. Such a waste to only use once!

Francine Viola  I'm glad you like them. Thank you!

Sheri Sperry - MCNE®  Yes, I'm creative, but I can't take credit for these ideas. Simply found them at one point online and put them to good use!

Ann Nguyen  Trust me, sometimes the wrapping IS better than the gift. LOL

By the way, I'm trying the ribbon loop trick when I get an Amazon order this week.  I love using ribbons, rather than bows. I'll let you know if I can duplicate it properly. Lol.
