Now that the dust is settling from all the Christmas events, Santa visits, carriage rides and holiday light shows we are now ramping up for our New Years Celebrations. There will be some fantastic events to usher in the new year in each city, but Denver is where it is all happening this year. In Denver property management we have had almost every one of the last New Year’s celebration in some proximity to the downtown and surrounding Denver areas. There are always something happening on the big night, and usually the day before is littered with events as well. If you are in the mood for the biggest concert event this New Years you can see the Decadence 2017 festival at the Colorado Convention Center.
Now this event is not for the faint of heart. There are tons of artists playing each night with two massive stages with enough room for 20,000 people. If you are at all hesitant about any of the sentence that I just typed, you will want to be somewhere else. For people looking for live electronic music with some of the most advanced lightshows in the area, you are in for a big night. Bassnectar is headlining the first night on 12/30, and his show is not one to be missed. There are certain logistical issues to take into consideration if you are attending this event. For one the coat check procedure can be very long, and you are basically forced into wearing a coat due to how reliably cold it is on New Year’s Eve in Denver. Taking the light rail there will be crowded as well, and Lyft and Uber rides will be expensive. But it is all part of the charm and package of going out on New Year’s Eve and these costs are associated into people’s fun budget for the night. If you are set on going out, you will be embracing these elements and just having fun and ushering in 2018.
