Where is a cop when you need one?

Real Estate Agent with Jameson Sotheby's International Realty

I'm sure we've all asked that question.  "Where is a cop when you need/want one?"

Today I was on my way to a photo shoot on a new listing.  As I was driving there, a small red sports car pulled out of a side-street, tires screeching, pulled directly into my path causing me to swerve and brake hard in order to avoid hitting him, and sped away at a high rate of speed. In cutting into the flow of traffic, he almost managed to hit several cars (mine included) and was now pulling away.

"Where is a traffic cop, when you need one?"

Suddenly, from the very same side street a black SUV duplicated the maneuver.  Tires screeching, a large black SUV came roaring into the flow of traffic, heading in the same direction as the little red sports car.  Only one thing was different about this car.  Behind the smoked windows... red and blue lights began flashing, as the car quickly chased down the perpetrator, and pulled him over.  This was clearly an unmarked police car who'd seen the sports car cut through the traffic, and peel down the road.

You could practically hear all of the drivers around me applauding as the offender was pulled to the side of the road!

THERE!!  There's a cop when you need one!!

Alan, I can not count the times I have utter the words: Where is a Cop when you needed them?

Only a very few times have I seen a cop at the right time. Yes, I cheered.

YES!   We love it when that happens, and these days in Santa Barbara, everyone is very cautious...there is a very large contingent of Highway Patrol here.  A

LOL, hope he got a big fat ticket.

And I never don't have a cop when I need one.  Well at least for the past nearly 20 years.

Ha, it is a sweet feeling to see somebody who deserves a ticket getting stopped. Even when I'm driving great, I get nervous if I spot a control car behind me. Must have a guilty conscious.

When I see someone speeding and weaving in and out of traffic, I think, "Yes, he will get there sooner than me, but to fhe graveyard. "
