WEll, with even the credit protection agencies being hacked no entity is 100|% safe.
Good morning Robert - good points worth repeating. For those of us who know we still need a reminder.
I see that Kathy highlighted your post this week....I am glad I didnt miss it!
Great information! ID theft is far too common these days. We must protect ourselves.
What's your recommendation for the best company to provide identity theft protection?
Hi Robert
Thanks, as always, for the tips. I was also going to ask about a recommendation for identity theft protection. Scary how many ways there are to possibly get in trouble.
Jeff
Thanks for sharing a great heads up post.
It seems that the bad guys are always a step ahead of any action we take.
I will take a closer look at my identity security now.
Thanks
Identity protection is essential, like getting spyware off your computer. It's amazing how easy it is to lose personal information. I'm looking into titanium wallets to protect the information on my credit card chips due to folks being able to read through my wallet and clothes. I find these theives very annoying.
Good Information. Reminder for those who know.. and a wake up call for the rest. It is a much higher risk today than when our parents were our age.. and it likely will only get worse. Frankly with all there is available today, I am somewhat surprised there has not been more done to prevent/protect this area of our lives.
This is one of the fastest-growing crimes globally and I would not be surprised if we see a push for some form of global ID that is used for logging into web sites, pulling money from an ATM, or buying property.
You present an amazingly concise and informative layout of what is useful and what is not when it comes to ID theft protection. Great post. Thank you for sharing!
Robert- i’m Sending this to a friend!! And we could all do better at taking care of our own security! I am on my 4th shredder and am investing in a new and larger one after the holidays!
