Hi Grant Schneider - so true. I think it took a couple of Christmases to get used to it. But I have to admit going out to cut down our tree when it was 75 in shorts, sandals and a t-shirt was quite a pleasant change from doing so when it was 20 degrees outside back in Boston!

Jeff -I can relate to this! When we moved to Florida. I had to get used to lights on palm trees and Christmas in shorts!

HI Jeff Dowler ! I really think that yucca with the bulbs is cute! One thing we could do in SoCal is walk those neighborhoods where all the neighbors decorate. We had two huge areas where I lived. One of the neighbors was right off the 60 Frwy and the exit was backed up for a mile every day in December!
Jeff my youngest brother lives in Tuscan, AR, and the first Christmas he was there he sent me a picture of him in short and in front of a decorated cactus. Sorry but that does not feel like Christmas ![]()

Jeff Dowler that is some creative decorating...I hope there weren't many band-aids needed by the decorator!
I like it! I like it a lot, Jeff. It reminds me of a Court Jester's crown. I use to have one of those growing in my yard, but I don't any longer.
Nothin like Christmas Cactus Balls in the desert. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Hi Jeff - It takes a while. When I visit my house in Florida I can't get used to Christmas decorations at 80 degrees.
