I am so proud that the new tax bill passed. It has been a long process to get it completed but now it is signed by the President.
While watching the President and members of congress about an hour ago celebrate the passing of the leglislation, I was impressed by the President then several members of congress thanking everyone who worked so hard to get it passed. To me the most impressive was the Vice President Mike Pence. To me he is a class act.
I know the democrats opposed the new law as did the republicans when Obamacare was passed. Time will tell whether this will be a success but my money is on it being very successful.
My wife told me 3 weeks ago I don't know why I work so hard because the government gets so much of the money I bring in. I told her to hang on because help is on the way. That help begins Jan 1, 2018.
I am neither a republican or democrat but an American who lives in the south and very conservative. Thank you Mr. President for keeping a campaign promise!
