Truly no purpose to this post, but as I was walking through Union Station today, I was struck by the uplift in the mood by a few simple Christmas decorations.
Life moves along, quickly as it does at Union Station, but we can smile knowing it's Christmas time.
A few blocks further along, a few hours further along, we neighbors who live on Capitol Hill don't bother with the 'official/Federal' trees; instead we prefer our own little tree next to Eastern Market. Better than Charlie Brown's, but only a little bit, which is the charm.
Clearly feeling like Christmas, and a dash of snow would be just the touch.
Merry Christmas, and if you'd like this to be your neighborhood, just reach out.
