Tim Maitski - the danger is that you do not even see it. It is creeping, but in small increments, and we get used to it.

A guy, who on the podium with other candidates could attack women the way he did. The guy, who proved to be the most ignorant of any presidents of the last several decades and by a huge margin, lied more than any candidate simply because of ignorance, how you managed to see nothing? Imagine if we offer Putin to lift sanction in exchange for a KGB dossier on Trump. Then you would know that they really have on him.

You do not see that he is a puppet of Putin? No problem with Crimea, which was the blow to the Post war accord? And the precedent for other powers to change the status quo? Throwing Ukraine under the bus? You are a smart man, when you listen to him, you do not see that he is a moron? Can you not see it?

Anything this man touches is a disaster. Voting in UN, 9 countries only supported US, even after unprecedented pressure by Nikki Haley. ""The United States will remember this day in which it was singled out for attack in this assembly," Haley said. "We will remember it when we are called upon to once again make the world's largest contribution" to the UN and when other member nations ask Washington "to pay even more and to use our influence for their benefit."

Leaving the Climate Change accord, diminishing US in every possible way... The list is longer than the road from Daytona to Washington, but the real danger is that you do not see the danger. This is a very clever and well run KGB operation. I have an antidot, and see and smell it way before many others. I lived through that, I know how it works, and I know that we are on a very clippery slope. The worst thing is that it really cab't be undone. If we are OK with a moron, how can you undo it? You are no longer ask for decency, for expertise, for anything.

When I was a kid, I learned one great lesson. Anytime someone brag how smart s/he is and how well educated they are, they are morons. No decent person would say that. That's how I know that he is a moron. And thousand of other reasons. Open your eyes. It is so blatant that people... donot see it. What a disaster.

Tim Maitski - just one example. Yesterday for a few minutes people around Trump were praised him. Of course, they know that he loves comliments. Probably, he told them to praise him, I do not know. But it shamefully resembled personality cult that anyone of my age, who lived in Russia, China, or North Korea would immediately recognize.

Well, what's the damage?

Huge. because this is a lie, and there is no such things as innocent political lies. That's how we get tyrants. Because when you keep praising someone, s/he starts believing in what they say.

But what's the problem? Remember Saddam? People around him were telling him not what they needed to say, but what he would like to listen. And he was absolutely confident that his army could beat US handily... he was not avoiding the conflict because he was sure that what his generals were telling him about coward americans, was true.

Was there any damage?

Tim Maitski - and if we do nothing, this future would come. The poroblem is we are creative the fertile grounds for this. And not really that we do not see it, otherwise we wouldn't see these regrets about his twitter. Twitter shows who he is pure and simple. So, instead of dealing with who the guy really is, we would rather hide this.

Our problem is not that sounds like a moron on Twitter, the problem is that he is a moron.

I wold not agree with you about him not being a tyrant. The guy who is considtently trying to supress free press, calling it fake news, creating cinicism and disregard for the news. We should not have the news to democrats and the news for republicans, and this is what would follow. Tyrants is a process, we have made a few powerful steps in this direction.

One is fighting the press, the other is lying about absolutely everythinbg. Would would make him Putin's brother? Not acknowledging anything. Trumo hasn't, of course, completed the process, but he is the first, who started it and we for the most part do not care.

Tim Maitski - what Trump says has absoluely no value. I have never seen any politician lying like Trump.

Of course, he is trying to find the way to fire Mueller. I can't believe you do not see it.

We may never know the full involvement of Trumop with Russians, because Putin and KGB will keep it secret, unless we offer to trade for sanctions. Then you will see that he is over his head in Russia, and it is treason at best. I can only imagine the KGB profile on Putin. These guys do excellent phsycological profiles on everyone of potential interest, and I had the pleasure to read one on Putin, you can imagine how well they analyze the weak points and how they could be exploited.

Trump is a textbook operation of KGB. And what he succeded best is that making you saying this about the media. Of course, the only reason he has not removed Mueleer yet is because of this threat from the people, that he would have worse times than what he has now.

How can you not see it is beyond me.

I guess when you live here, you do not cherish what you have. You do not believe things that are honest (and it is media, yes, it is media, and it is the best thing you so far still have in this country even after all this crap from Trump and Putin) and yo are sort of fine with obvious dishonesty simply because Trum and Co every day teaching us that it is new normal.

If you only knew what it means to be honest media in Russia... Trump envies Putin, because he cvan't do what Putin does, what Putin has. And these are two things: money and power. Trump is is pennyless compared to Putin, whose wealth is guessed to be at $200 Billion, and power. Tyrants do not get power. Tyrants become Presidents and start building what later makes them tyrants. Trump started doing it before he even became the President. And is doing it at incredible speed.

Tim, you are not a redneck. Do you seriously believe that cutting taxes at the times of excellent economy makes any sense? There is not a single serious economist who agrees with that. It is to make a political point in otherwise failed Presidency. Nothing done, and it is great as whatever he does is  disaster.

So if people are against the tax bill, good for them. It does not pass a smell test.

The House and Senate versions were a bit different, and they got together to work it out and then at the last moment this so called Corker provision, which was not in the House bill, not in the Senate bill makes it into the final bill... Where did it come from? Corker did not know about it... Who does it serve? Trump. How come you do not see that tyhis shallow man is a simple crook.

BTW, I was at Trump University. What he says that he did not know anything is BS, we watched a long video address to us, and the whole thing was a criminal operation.

We thought and got our money back. In our group of 30 people only 2 of us, brokers, were able to walk away. The rest of the guys lost their money. Of course, this is not why I think Trump is the worst that could happen to this country. It just popped inmy memory.

And another byu the way. Monday his press secretary confirmed that the President would not benefit from any provision of the tax bill, and even the opposite was true. And yesterday, when asked, she said the President is a citizen like everybody else, so what's wrong if he does. Check it. When you watch it, it is much stronger than what I am saying.

I am redidng a lot of Russian media and participate in Russian social media. I read about what would be coming and happening here long before it came and happened. It was like a dripping campaign. One word here, one word there. They were not making sense, they did not seem like having anything in common. And then these things were happening, and I could see and recognize that I read about it a year before... It is a coup. Of this moron aganst the nation. One day you will know it...Of course, unless Trum with the help of republicans would shut down the investigation.

Trump is saying he wold  not fire mueller only because he fire Comey, and it proved to be worse. Were you upset that he had a meeting in the ovel office with Russians, and did not let any american reporter there? Did you notice that he invited the ambassador to the Oval office, which is quite extraordinalry, as this is not the level of people who get to oval office. None of them had any business there.

Why did this meeting even happen? A few reasons. One was that Russians asked Trump to do it? And when Trump agreed, like no Obama or Bush or even Clintonb ever do, then Putin made it work for him. He showed that he could do this, what was a demonstration of powers. And it was used to calm the aspirations of Ukraine, Belorussia, Kazakhstan, Georgia... It showed to them that they can't expect protection from US... Oh, well...

Tim Maitski - why you think that Trump even knows that the final bill differes from the promises? I would be very surprised if he hs any idea of what actually is in the bill. All he needed was that it had to be the biggest (most massive) bill, which actually, it wasn't, but who cares yet about another lie from him

Tim Maitski - it seems like you have a well defined picture of a tyrant. I don''t. Putin negotiates, and he is by far not a democratic leader, but to me whoever attacks our democracy deserves exposure. So, I am all for his tweets. Let everybody see who the hell he really is.

Tim Maitski - I never thought I would see political affiliation so defining the outlook. Until yesterday I was a registered repiblican. I was very upset with Obama, and thought that finally republicans can get it all right. And then I saw Trump on the posium. First it sounded interesting, sort of fresh... After 3 debates, I was done listening to the same crap again and again, repeating the stuff, that was explained as a lie, nothing discouraged him.

I do not understnd how you can even be comparig all this stuff. yo are looking at the moron, you are listening to a moron, and yet you aould be more pissed off with CNN, or smeone else. Oh well. And you keep me puzzling with the way you describe tyranny. Now there are guns...

Tim Maitski - I do not believe we really are watching two different videos. It is the same video. But you would not be startled by a shameful liar there. you would put him on the same level as someone from CNN, or something else.

I see the start of the show. Lying with unbelievable sort of impunity. I loe that sentence that it was not Russians who gave the emails to Wikileaks.

Things are not going to change, and we probably would be seeing them differently, no matter what.
