As you have undoubtably heard by now, today is the shortest day of the year. It still has 24 hours in it, but it has the least amount of daylight of any other day of the year. For such a short day, why then is this week so long?
I think it seems long because we are all waiting for Christmas to be here. When something you want is off in the future, it just seems to take forever to get here. Conversely, as soon as that event gets here, it goes by in a flash. Is this some sort of Physics thing?
It is sort of like helping a buyer find just the right home. The time spent looking at homes can seem like years. The Buyers can even get frustrated and stop looking for a while. But as soon as you find the right one, time speeds up and off you go, writing up the offer and trying to beat everyone else to the punch!
Then time speeds up even more during the timeline contingencies. And magically, as soon as all contingencies are met, and closing is 2 weeks away, time again slows to a crawl. Its a miracle we all don't get time whiplash.
So, before you as a reader determine that this post is taking forever to read, I will depart with these last few words...
If you think it is Time to start looking for a home or placing your home on the market, give den Boer Homes a call. We will always have Time for you.
