Three Marketing Tips for New Agents

1. Get creative.

You don't have to stick to what everyone else is doing (like passing out business cards). You can - and should - try unique tactics to stand out. Think about handing out personalized MLB schedules with your logo on them or a magnetic notepad attached to your business card. In the spring, pass out branded seed packets and tell potential clients you want to grow with them.

Let your imagination run wild, because your clients will appreciate that you're not a run-of-the-mill, basic real estate agent who does nothing but follow the herd.

2. Advertise from more than one angle.

Sending out real estate postcards is a fantastic idea, but it's only one idea. You have to reach your clients where they are, which means you need to advertise from multiple angles to get max exposure. (But if you are looking for real estate postcards, let us know - we know a guy...)


3. Flip your marketing switch to the "On" position, and don't turn it off.

Everything you do is a reflection of your real estate business, whether it's a Facebook post or a chat in an elevator with the sweet lady from 5B. You're building your brand and its credibility with everything you do, so make sure you always put your best foot forward when you're interacting with the public.
