End of Year, Business Reflections

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Fran Rokicki Realty, LLC

In 2017, I visited, listed and sold many stunning properties.  People welcomed me, into their homes, in hopes of a successful sale of their property.  Some retired, others moved to other states due to their job relocation and others moved up or downsized.

Buyers came from near and far. . . .

Near: Bristol, East Hartford, Manchester, Vernon,  Southington, East Haven, Bolton & Middletown

Far: Maryland, Arizona,  NYC,  Florida, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts & Maine.

Our market in the Greater Hartford Area of Connecticut, held its own this year.  We didn't have the drop in prices, experienced in the past years.  Though, our state and local taxes continue to hinder improvement, our market stayed steady.  Jobs are coming back. There is a new optimism that we haven't felt or seen in a very long time.  Hope has returned to those seeking the American Dream of home ownership.

The interest rates have remained at historic lows, thereby, enabling many people to purchase and own their homes.  People seem to be focused on their personal debt and crushing their bills. Again, positive news on the economy has created more positive energy in our homes and hope for a better future.

Investments that I made this year, are new signs, new lockboxes, more mobile apps to offer my clients  easier access to the mls for searcing for their homes,  more staging products, my business Coach, continuing education and continuing  my  enhanced client appreciation program.

Thanks to all of my family, friends, clients, my office team, fellow Realtors and my team of vendors, for another good year! I appreciate each and everyone one of you.   I am never too busy for you or your referrals!

Wishing all, a Merry Christmas and a Happy,  Healthy, New Year! #2018

This is certainly the time of year to reflect on business successes and even the failures.  Now to assess goals for the coming year.

Frances, you BLITZING this month? I had an excellnt start with the Blitz last year. Even better with the one at the end of the year!

I'm working a little smarter... developing a little synergy with a couple other agents. Revising and updating my on line presence. A new web page is around the corner and getting more creative with the various types of social media. Shooting to 46 transactions... which will be good! I think rates will start to tic up but I think that will help the market by getting some fence sitters to move.

Happy New Year to you and lets keep in touch!
