When Can a Borrower Get a Loan Again?

Working with Short Sales for about 19 years now, I've had the privilege of helping clients successfully sell, and of helping them purchase again. For the ones that I know, I can tell when they'll be ready to purchase based on when their short sale was completed. For new clients who contact me, one of the first questions to ask is: When was your Short or Foreclosure or Deed in Lieu? Depending upon their answer, and of course, their current credit-worthiness, we can determine if they're able to become homeowners once more.

It's rewarding to me to help people with short sales. It's a great compliment when they turn to me again to help them get back into their own home.
