Things have been nonstop for us at Ideal Homes for the past 12 months. Not only have we been selling and building new homes for our homebuyers, but we have also developed seven new models in our new home communities in the Oklahoma City region.
Skyline Trails, the newest Ideal Homes’ community, is located in Mustang, OK. We have built a model home from our popular Edison floor plan. Inside the 1,386 square foot plan, every inch is used strategically. With three bedrooms, the open concept and vaulted ceilings add to the comfortable feeling in the central living area. When you reach the kitchen, you are blown away by the beautiful granite countertops, carefully selected cabinetry and backsplash, and stainless steel appliances. With all of these high-end features, the walk-in pantry is a bonus!
At The Reserve at Valencia, a most sought-after community in Edmond, OK, we have recently completed the construction of the Cambridge model With 2,868 square feet of living space, the Cambridge plan offers more than just spacious living. This model is full of accent details like crown molding, built-ins, and transom windows. The kitchen includes a center island topped with granite countertops, gorgeous cabinetry, breakfast bar, and a wall oven. It’s a bonus that there are windows generously placed around the home to brighten it up. There is an upstairs bonus suite that features a shiplap accent wall, as well as a sliding barn door to a full bath.

At Wildflower, in Oklahoma City, the Emilia plan showcases Ideal Homes’ commitment to energy efficiency. In one of our other Edmond communities, we finished construction on a Frederickson model home now for sale in our Northbrooke community. We added a new model home in Norman, OK at our Greenleaf Trails new home community. The Inwood floor plan consists of 1,768 square feet of indoor living space that comes with tall ceilings, an open layout, and a kitchen fit for entertaining. This specific model showcases a center island with a breakfast bar that will comfortably seat three. The living room features a gas fireplace for those chilly evenings. The second and third bedroom area is separated from the rest of the home by sliding barn doors. The master’s suite includes an impressive bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet.
The popularity of Ideal Homes’ Jefferson floor plan motivated us to build this floor plan in two of our Edmond communities as models in 2017: Northbrooke and Valencia. The Jefferson boasts four bedrooms and two full baths in an impressive 1,813 square feet. This split floor plan has a large central living area that makes this home a great choice for families. Live the “suite” life! The master suite includes a spa-like bathroom and walk-in closet.
