Searching for a home on line is much like searching for that special someone on line.
We scroll through filtered pictures that may or may not accurately represent our subject. We read through descriptions that may be somewhat...exaggerated. And we review the subject stats (i.e. beds, baths, square footage, height, weight, likes & dislikes, etc.) to make sure they match our criteria.
When you finally think you've found just the right match, you come to find out only weeks later that you may have made a terrible mistake. Unlike your newly found friend, you can't necessarily say good bye to your new found home.
Be sure to get as much time as you can at the property during the home inspection period (honeymoon phase) before you make that final commitment to remove all contingencies to "tie the knot."
