The National Western Stock Show will be in town and is celebrating their 112th birthday in Denver! Come to the Stock Show Parade Thursday January 4th NOON downtown to kick off the season. Thunder (the Bronco mascot) is the Grand Marshal. The Parade was canceled in 2017 due to bad weather. There will be longhorn horses, cows, mini cowboys/cowgirls and lots of cowboy hats! The Parade will begin at Union Station, travel up 17th Street to Tremont. Time to don your cowboy boots and hat! This time of year, everyone can be proud to be a COWBOY (or COWGIRL)! There are 80 scholarships funded every year from this event!
There is an abundance of events to choose from in the 16 days, 350 vendors, along with the rodeo, the showing of prize horses, cows, hogs and poultry, here are some other fun events:
