Today is Valentine’s Day and there is one central event today for those of you with the ability to have the day off. This is at Denver City Park at 9:00am the morning of Valentine’s Day. The race will be called the Le Cours de I ‘Amour 5K/10K/1M. Feat on the Street will be putting on this race and the cost is only $25.00. AS with any 5k run the proceeds will be donations to a great cause. Feat on the Street will be contributing a portion of the proceedings to arthritis. Working in Denver property management we will not be able to take off the Valentine’s Day, seeing as the holiday lands in the middle of the week. But at any given moment there are plenty of people with different schedules or flexible ones. There are couples who run together, and they tend to stay together. But even if you are a member of the lonely heart’s club or a wandering romantic looking for the love of your life at this Valentine’s Day event. Perhaps you’ve already taken the lover’s leap of faith and want to profess your love, or you are just holding hands running or walking side by side with your penitential suitor in the future. Be sure to come by dressed in your kitschy Valentine’s Day best. Roses and Rings are a must. Plenty of red and other heart themed clothes should be required. Everyone will be getting finisher medals and awards medals for the top finishers. There will be custom shirts, the total professional timed certified course, and a giveaway at the end of the race. The entire event will take place from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Be sure to stop by and register in the amount of race you think you can handle, but there is no right or wrong to what you decide.
