The proverbial wisdom from "The Three Wise Monkeys," keeps me in check. An aspect that most resonates from the Weltanschauung: the guiding principles and philosophy of an organization; a world view, is point #10: "ActiveRain believes that it is in the best interests of real estate professionals to build a community that is focused on educating one another.
Every State has different regulations and requirements. Educating clients, customers, and the general public about issues affecting Texas Real Estate keeps others informed. Sharing relevant topics to consumers in TX, and to prospective buyers considering moving to my area is important to the success of my profession. Although other State Real Estate methods may be similar, it is my responsibility to refrain from making negative statements through my comments that have no bearing on other agent's industry contributions. Understanding the wisdom of The Three Wise Monkeys builds a better community.
THREE WISE MONKEYS
Whether you are brand new to the business or been around for a while, if you want to fit into a culture, and you want to remain a part of the group, it is best to "See No Evil, Hear No Evil, and Speak No Evil." To be mindful of others, I keep a bronze statue on my desk to remind me every single day, that adults do not act like children. Therefore, it is best to comply with Professional Standards. Being a part of a Community requires respect and a sense of belonging where members foster mutual trust.
It is counter-productive and wrong to make criticizing remarks or derogatory comments on other agent's blog posts. Uninvited criticism diminishes the public perception of all professionals in the industry and violates AR's Community Guidelines and the Weltanschauung. The highest paid compliment I can give to another is professional courtesy, careful language, and thoughtful opinions to protect the integrity of the Real Estate Industry. The proverbial wisdom of the Three Wise Monkeys improves relationships on ActiveRain.
