Brrr.... Yep, that Nor'easter got us good here in Eastern NC !
We had about 6-7 inches of snow. It has hung for 5 days now since our temps have not made above freeze yet. Hopefully tomorrow, from what I am hearing. ( last night low was 6 degrees ! )
Our power stayed on and our fridge was stocked. No real complaints from this gal though.
I did get a frozen water heater line but no ones fault but mine...
A blow dryer did the trick after a long afternoon of heating it up slowly !
It is the beginning of January, a new quarter and a new year.
Hopefully you have recovered from holiday travels or family time. Hopefully we all have kept our business opportunities at arms length and ready to resume now we are back to a normal work week.
For me, I have always taken advantage of this down time to connect with past clients, make calls and most importantly massage those customers that want to wait until "spring time" !
What do I mean ???
In my region here in Eastern NC, specifically the Greenville, NC area, it has been a sellers market for two plus quarters. Low inventory lends to shorter time on market. Great, but it can also leave you low on listings. That was my case. Typically in a Buyers market I tend to feel comfortable with 20 active listings.
It usually is a pattern I can control and keep plentiful. Listings are King..remember that !
Today I am down to 4 listings.... BUT, with my persistence and focus over the New Year I have three listings for this week all typed up and ready for photos.
We actually are waiting for the snow to melt !!!!
I don't know how agents in states with long winters and alot of snow keep a momentum going !
Here is to a healthy and happy new year to everyone here at Active Rain and a warm wish for prosperity and success !
ps... I may have trouble giving up the slippers !
Do you think anyone would notice if I wore them to work!
