Corpus Christi Housing Report for November 2017
The Corpus Christi Association of Realtors has recently released the Housing Report Numbers for Corpus Christi for the Month of November 2017. These numbers come at an interesting time since we just experienced our first hurricane in a number of years at the end of August. The numbers are still very strong with the median home price up 2.7% to $189,900. Active listings are up 0.9% with 1563 active listings on the market for sale. Closed sales are also up 0.8% with 248 closed sales in November 2017. Days on the market is up by only 8 days compared to November 2016. The average days on the market including time to close is 116. There is currently 5.4 Months of Inventory for Sale on the market compared to 5.0 in November 2016.
November 2017 Price Distribution is as follows:
$0.00 - $99,999 = 11.3%
$100,000 - $199,999 = 46.2%
$200,000 - $299,999 = 30.8%
$300,000 - $399,999 = 7.2%
$400,000 - 499,999 = 2.3%
$500,000 - $749,999 = 1.8%
$750,000 - $999,999 = 0%
$1,000,000 + = 0.5%
This is great news for the Real Estate Market in Corpus Christi. It is still a great time to buy or sell Real Estate in the Coastal Bend. Interest rates are still low and prices are still affordable.
