Dallas Arboretum sounds like a wonderful place to go to lift your spirits and see what growns locally. Looking forward to those tulips and daffodills, this has felt like a long winter and we have hardly begun, but I know Spring will be that much better as a result.

This sounds like a good spot to get grounded. It's impossible not to feel centered when you're surrounded by something growing in nature. The changing events make it a nice spot to visit on a regular basis too. D

Nick & Trudy Vandekar, 610-203-4543 - You would enjoy it. It's a great place to relax and clear your head of all unnecessary distractions. I really do believe spirits soar high at the Dallas Arboretum - there's such a sense of peace and quiet, something we all need to nurture our souls. It would be fun to take you and your family around the gardens someday. I sure hope spring comes soon for you.

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD - The holidays are especially enjoyable. There's something for all ages, including outdoor concerts near the shores of White Rock Lake. Membership fees are very inexpensive. You're right, the Dallas Arboretum keeps you grounded! I frequent it as often as possible. The gardens are simply unforgettable. Meals at the Tea Room is delicious in a very relaxing dining room, or guests can eat outdoors. Seeing the colorful gardens and smelling the sweetness of flower blooming gives one a chance to enjoy nature at its best. It would fun to walk with there someday.
