Listing, showing and selling mountain properties allows for many wildlife sightings and viewing scenery that, at times, will take your breath away. In early December, I was driving back from a new listing on Singing Pines and saw a huge elk herd. I have never seen so many elk up here, in one place- so that was very exciting, ... and the view from that new listing on Singing Pines will take your breath away

The other day, I was installing a sign and putting the lockbox on another new listing in Crystal Lakes. The sellers told me where the key was supposed to be hidden, and I looked high and low for it. If you didn’t know why I was there, you might have thought I was trying to find the best way to break in!
I cased the joint searched for the hidden key for a good amount of time…walking back and forth and around the outside perimeter several times.
It wasn’t until I was getting ready to leave that I noticed the moose.

She was watching me the whole time! and it was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop. Safe to say, moose are not very useful if it looks like someone is trying to break in to your home. They do not call 911, or shout out “Hey! What are you doing here, anyway!?”
I love the wildlife and the views. I love the gorgeous sunrises and the way the frost sits on the pines. You don’t have to be a real estate agent to see these things- you just need to live here!
